Smith McLelland is the Broker & Managing Partner of Fairway Commercial Advisors. His responsibilities include investor consultation, business development, strategic planning, and team management. His knowledge of the market, effective communication, and strong dedication to his craft ensure that his clients experience great service, professional consultation, and efficiency in every aspect of the transaction.
Prior to moving back to the Lubbock area, Smith worked for a CRE firm in Dallas, Texas and had a part in creating the investment focused strategies implemented there today. During his time there, Smith brokered transactions in Texas, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Florida.
Smith is a Texas native and grew up in Tahoka, Texas on a working cattle ranch that his family has managed and operated for many years. He attended Texas Tech University where he received his bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Business & Economics. Upon graduation, Smith went on to complete the Ranch Management
graduate program at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas.
Smith is an avid outdoorsman and spends his free time among his family and friends. Smith, his wife Kendra, and their daughters currently reside in Tahoka.
